I think the airlines make it as difficult as possible for people to use their frequent flyer miles.

Actually, I'm sure all the sites you wanted to see would be packed during the Spring Break period. It will be much better if you go when things aren't so busy. The Universe is looking out for you.Kathy Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10593849691667606991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1090180461581546413.post-69853574367261782822012-02-18T19:18:18.821-08:002012-02-18T19:18:18.821-08:00Yes, plan for fall once you have more energy. You ...Yes, plan for fall once you have more energy. You really deserve a break! And I really don't think employers would refrain from hiring you if you had a long-planned trip. DWT hired me even though 1) I was on a trip when they were interviewing - they waited till I got back to interview me; and 2) we'd already gotten our tickets for our next trip, which I asked them about. They had no issueAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1090180461581546413.post-2358658839968546242012-02-18T16:40:22.243-08:002012-02-18T16:40:22.243-08:00Abby, given my truly heinous frame of mind right n...Abby, given my truly heinous frame of mind right now I've stopped looking. There are so many variables (just getting across the U.S. requires hours of finagling) that I don't have the energy. At the very least a spring trip seems out of the question. Maybe fall- but I'd have to start working on it right this minute and how does that go if I have a new employer by that time?Catherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16787827077778614821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1090180461581546413.post-5378384010146635582012-02-18T16:38:26.709-08:002012-02-18T16:38:26.709-08:00Hhhmmm...Sassy Sue, Tuscany or Cleveland? But you're right I'm long overdue to see the very special people I know in Cleevland!Catherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16787827077778614821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1090180461581546413.post-52708876783135481782012-02-18T09:09:35.187-08:002012-02-18T09:09:35.187-08:00I bet you could find a free flight to Cleveland.I bet you could find a free flight to Cleveland.sassymouthsuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11987447138021742748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1090180461581546413.post-78185983608933787372012-02-18T07:03:32.594-08:002012-02-18T07:03:32.594-08:00Well that sucks.

Maybe not right when you wanted it to, but it will happen if you want it to. Until then, wine...and whine.Abbyhttp://www.abbyhasissues.comnoreply@blogger.com
